Ok guys. We conceed. Smithy has shown himself to be a magnificent tipster. I never realised how smart you needed to be to get a University Medal. I thought Mongo had 3 of them, and Daryl Brawthwaite had an honorary one. I was ignorant and wrong.
Smithy still leads our pathetic mini-league with his masterful picks through the Pyrénées, and is now sitting in 6th place overall with the big boys.
The massive tips he is giving his princess in exchange for his sponge baths at the moment, have now also helped her in to 2nd place in the mini-league, leap-frogging LBF (is it possible to leap-frog something so small).
The Elders are getting a bit nervous, even a broken down Skeletor is odds on to win the QUON again. Rumour has it a nude vote may be in the offing in the coming week to officially neutralise this years competition and give it by default to Smithy - it will enable planning for next year to begin for the massive job of usurping this giant of all things sporting and cerebal.

I don't know how many times I have to repeat myself.
Now that Preston has edged in front of Craft, all we are going to hear is more complaining from Bigdog.
I much prefer to hear the stories of Pauly's sponge baths.
