CORC has just released the 'best crash' of the 2008 Scott 24 Hour race.
The winner is none other than the QUON's ORDER OF AUSTRALIA MEDAL holder, Scott William Preston.
Scott will proudly hold the 'best crash' award for one whole year after he spectacularly threw himself into the dirt whilst attempting to pass the QUON Master on the first lap of the 24 Hour race at Mt Stromlo on Saturday.

The QUON Master was quoted as saying "I was in no rush to finish the lap, I was meandering downhill, when a roar of screaming came up from behind me. When i realised it was SWP, I moved to the side and let him through. Just as he passed me, there was a cloud of dirt and more screaming as SWP went flying off the track in a fit of rage".
The QUON Master continued "I was scared and happy all in one big bag of mixed emotion" He continues "I think this may helped my cause for getting a ginga into supremacy next year also. They don't call me the puppet master for nothing"
Scott Preston was unavaialble for comment this morning. However, it is rumoured that legal proceedings may be taking place in the near future.
"Bring it" the QUON Master replied when the impending law suit was mentioned.

believe me, the QM is as dirty as Chick Hicks when it comes to MTB racing. I've seen QM shunt the rightful winner out of a race more than once before, just like Chick did to The King in the Piston Cup decider. The QM desperately needs to learn the lessons I did in Radiator Springs, about fairness, loyalty and friendship if he wants to be remembered with respect!
As Doc Hudson said, "it is just an empty tin cup; nothing more".
Dino King, saw through the incincerity of Chick Hick's win, and so did the fans at Quonlo on the weekend.

Geez it must have been a tough 'MTB' race when it appears to have been held on tar roads
This race, followed by the Aust Sprint Champs; once again causes the masses to question the QUON Master in his blind ambition to push youth into the QUON.
Martin Boyd will run another sub 3 hour marathon; Bill Bennet will smash 9hrs again in an Ironman somewhere in the world; Paul Smith continues to live the dream; so does Thommo - but with results, Clarkey and Wayno race hard, and house of will surprise us all yet again.
These guys - some over 40- continue to race more, achieve more, and get more out of what they do; yet have to listen to the new voice telling them of the future is with the youth of today.
Awesome result on the weekend Terra! Australian Champion, father of 2 and one hell of a dancer!
